When should I use cologne and when should I use deodorant body spray?
Hobbes asked:
From what I’ve seen on Yahoo Answers, women seem to prefer cologne over body spray. But cologne doesn’t control the odor… so when should I use cologne and when should I use deodorant body spray?

use colongne for a date or something more formal, use spray on deoderent to get ride of that bad smell right away cuz deoderent takes a while to start working, but then again it lasts longer.

use body spray. sure, women like the cologne better, but trust me – its not very good to be wandering around a girl without deodorant on…

I would go with unscented deodorant/anti-perspirant and a cologne of your choosing. The cologne in and of itself can’t stop the person from perspiring or cover up the odor much. It’s best to take a full-length shower and use the deodorant.

Hey Hobbes, Nothing really covers odors. It just masks it for a tiny bit. If you are odery, then apply Cologne after a shower and don’t bother with the body sprays. They loose their scent very quickly. If you have very bad odors, all the times, maybe you should seek a dermatologist cuz no one is that pooy.
Most things we put into our body comes out of our pores. When people consume a lot of garlic, it “oozes” out our pores so be careful of what you swallow. Hope this helps!

Are you sure your cologne isn’t covering your odor? Just because you dint smell the colon doesn’t mean it isn’t there. To me it doesn’t matter if it is a colon or body spray but now much of it the guy uses. A little go a long way.

well use a DEODORANT. that will control body oder. and showering helps too.i dont want to be harsh, but, those help control body oder, sprays just mask them. and then use cologne.
