What would be a good cologne for a college student?

I recently decided to reinvent myself after 4 years of wearing a simple t-shirt and jeans to high school. I’ve figured out my clothing and hair style, but what I’m still stuck on is what kind of cologne I should wear. Any ideas? If it helps, my dressing style is usually the typical college guy one (almost preppy).

old spice, axe, and tag. they dont make girls really pummel you to the ground ripping off your clothe, but it is a tolerable smell ( remember, bathing and soaking yourself in cologne are not the same thing, my bro and i foudn that out the hard way -.- i hate the way axe smells now)

bath and body works has an awesome smelling cologne and its called Woodland Musk and it smells soooooooooooo good I recommend it for all men its not expensive and its a big bottle and it last all day long my man uses it

anything that smells good, but not too “loud” of a smell. Meaning it is a subtle smell. Also, don’t douse yourself in it. a little can go a long way.
it can be cheap or expensive, and generally the best smelling colognes are pricey. but i’d go in the moderate range for prices. not too expensive, but not cheap enough to leave your classmates holding their noses.

Every fragrance smells different on different skins. I would go to a Department Store and get some samples and test them on your skin. Just dress like as you always do and the salesperson will suggest different fragrances.

You know what works best? Taking a shower, washing your hair, using deodorant, and skipping the cologne.
Too many college guys don’t know how to put it on and they BATHE in it… nasty.
