What is the difference between buying perfume at Shoppers Drug Mart or at a Walmart?

I want to buy the Baby Phat Godess perfume and at Shopper’s it’s around $60 dollars and at Walmart it is only $25 dollars.

What’s the difference?
Is the one at Shopper’s the real thing and is the one at Walmart a knock-off?
It’s just for the perfume not for anything else.

Create a video blog…instantly.
The Shoppers place is just getting a lot more profit. Walmart basically doesn’t pay it’s employees so thats why its so cheap there. Of course I can’t be sure its not a knockoff. Check to make sure they are packaged in exactly the same way

If you get it at shoppers most of the money goes to advertising anyway. I’d go with the Wal-Mart.

Maybe it comes in a kit with a lotion and stuff at shoppers?
But generally, Shoppers will be more expensive.
Walmart can’t sell knockoffs. Its too big of a company to do stuff like that.

If any of the fragrances at Wal-Mart aren’t the real thing they will have a different name and say that it’s a “version of” whatever the real one is.
So yes they *can* sell Knock-Offs, but legally any knock-off in any store has to have a different name and say something like it’s a version of…, similar to…., or If you like (insert name of original), then you’ll love (insert name of knock-off).
And sorry if the following is TMI, but is has to do w/ another answers comment. No argument intended, just info, so here it is.
I work at a Wal-Mart, and they pay their employees fairly. And most start out at more than minimum wage.
And once you’ve worked in the same store for at least 6 months, then you get what’s called a My Share Bonus. We get this bonus each fiscal quarter, (4 times a year). The amount depends on how many hours you work, like whether you are full time, part-time. It also depends on how sales are for your store, as well as customer surveys.
So a few different factors go into determining it. Wal-Mart is a good place to work, at least mine is. And my managers are great.
Over all it’a a good company. I realize that because of human nature and different managing styles others store may not be as enjoyable to work at.
