What is the best perfume for a female?

I’m trying to find a perfume that isn’t like a “club perfume”. I want to find one that has a beautiful fragrance and doesn’t cost a lot. One that two people of the opposite sex fall in love with each other and when they are not together the guy remembers the girl and can recall her scent. Like a summer love story perfume.

t’s really hard to say which perfume it the best for a female..it depends on age/ spirits/ haircolor/..etc.
..regarding to summer – i like my girl smells of “Armani Code” for women – it resembles orient summer fragrance..))

It’s your preference really but for me I like wearing a perfume that doesnt give me a headache- meaning – a scent that is just mild and when I’m wearing it, it makes me feel good..
try body cool mist or in perfume scent- citrus basil or spring flower.

I know, im not a fan of Paris herself, but her fragrances are amazing! I get complimented on her scent all the time!

They’re both floral scents and Glow lasts for a really long time,
Another one is Curious by Britney Spears – Not as good as Glow though.

Inexpensive—if youre thinking under $20 Cody’s Wild Musk is verrry sexy. If you can spend more go with Philosophy products–many scents to choose from and none are over powering…. one in particular is actually called”Falling in Love”

I personally don’t wear perfume (because of the alcohol and other chemicals which break me out), but a custom body oil might be good. I tend to go for the more lighter, floral type scents, no matter what time of day it is. Remember that what’s important is to smell good not cheap.

I love perfumes, high end and low end. I have to many high ends that I love (namely Ralph Lauren, Este Lauder, ect) but, I have one low end that I keep as an everyday, every occasion, fragrance. that is “Life” by Esprit. You can pick it up at CVS.

I have three favorites that I get the most compliments on (in order of men’s favorite):
1. Lancome Hypnosis
2. Dolce &Gabana Light Blue
3. Ralph Lauren Blue
These all run around 50.00 or more. If you are looking for something cheaper how about:
1. Victoria’s Secret Lovespell (10.00)
2. Victoriuas Secret Angels Heavenly
3. Gap Sueded Musk

A lot depends on your own body chemistry. For instance, strong florals like Jasmine give me a terrific headache, and others dissipate into thin air instantly on me. A couple of the old-fashioned scents that men/boys still love are Shalimar, White Shoulders and Este Lauder’s Youth Dew. These are rather expensive, but the smells-like knock-offs are almost as good, & inexpensive! A lot of people do love Cody’s Wild Musk, but I must warn you that it does smell just like smelly, crusty old gym sox on some women!! Have you considered trying an essential oil from an herbalist/health food store? These come in tiny bottles, but go a LONG way, & don’t cost more than $5 to $10 on average. My favorites in this category are patchoulli, sandalwood, wild rose & honeysuckle.

you need to know what she likes…floral, musks etc…then her body chemistry is going to make a difference too…I hear J-LO’s Glow is a good balanced smell…
