White Shoulders. Very old fashioned, the scent brings to mind romantic ideas like sharing a loveseat swing with a girl in a long skirt and lace shawl on a spring night.
Opium and Poison are both lovely, but they smell like a randy, modern girl you might meet in a club and take home for something you’ll never forget. I like that as well, but I’m far too romantic a soul not to feel more attracted to something that smells like a lifetime love than a wild night.

This’ll probably sound weird, but the most striking perfume I ever smelled on a man was a homemade mixture of essential oils–musk, ambergris and civet –mixed together by hand. I think they are all base scents for regular perfumes, but, mixed together they were irresistible!
