the cologne MIGHT evaporate extremely slowly

It will just evaporate. Try dabbing a bit on your light bulbs. When you turn them on the heat activates the aroma. I’ve done this with lavender oil in my bedroom and it smells delicious!

If its strong enough cologne it will, but its a bad idea.

    Buy a diffuser=&kw=diffuser&origkw=diffuser&sr=1
and it will do exactly what you want to do with your cologne, allowing to save your cologne to be your special scent, and not your air-freshener.

You could also go cheap and buy a plug-in.

Cologne has a lot of alcohol in it and will evaporate and become thick and unusable if you leave the cap off. You might want to consider putting your cologne on some tissues or on a cloth hankie, then putting those around the room and re-capping your cologne.

Since most cologne is composed of alcohol, it will evaporate and the fragrance will change over time.

~~It will evaporate very quickly, because of the high alcohol content it has. That would be the worse thing. Another way to do this is soak some cotton balls and place in inconspicuous spots around you room. It does the same thing, and you won’t weaken you cologne.~~
