Perfume suggestions?

I’m not into overly sweet scents, or anything TOO clean. But on the other hand, I don’t like a fragrance that’s too musky or heavy. I like a light citrus, vanilla, jasmine, neroli, rose, I don’t mind a very slight musk… Things like that. Basically, I like sort of warm, sexy, sheer fragrances. I also like a slight oceany scent. I dislike most gourmand fragrances and woody scents. Oh, and aside from citrus, I dis like fruity scents. Oh and I live in Hawaii so I want something I can wear even on a humid day here.
Some perfumes I’ve loved or at least liked have been Christian Lacroix Bazaar Summer, Carolina Herrera 212 On Ice, Narciso Rodriguez, Fracas, and L’Interdit (original). Ideas?

Cherry Blossom by L’Occitane is amazing.
EDIT: The Lemon Verbena by L’Occitane is great too.

Chance by Chanel.. I just got it and it smells wonderful. It really drives my b/f crazy!
Another one that I like that has a vanilla-y scent to it is Hypnotic Poison by Dior.

I hear you exactly! I personally tend towards the light, and floral myself (not too floral or sweet though) – But I fluctuate between those and this one that I have and tend to use when going out evenings or special occasions…It does fit your description perfectly!
Have you tried “Ysatis” by Givenchy? I think after
reading your description, and from the compliments I get when wearing it at night, It’s exactly what you’re looking for.
And beautiful and feminine are great words to describe it, but tell you what, go to a Sears or a high-end store, and get a sample, see for yourself!

I suggest Chance by Chanel because it is designed to change with your personal body chemistry. That is why it was called “Chance”. Also, it changes throughout the day so you wont get bored with the scent. You may want to try Forever Elizabeth” by Elizabeth Taylor too. You are sure to get compliments on both of these perfumes. on my ‘to buy’ list are

2 fragrances that I love that are just body sprays are
strawberries and champagne from Vics Secret (not too sweet and it smells more like champagne, not fruity)
I LOVE love spell, that’s the sweetest I’ll ever go
PINK (all Vics Secret)
and Warm Vanilla Sugar from Bath and Body Works
I say if you live in Hawaii (lucky you!) I’d definately try the J LO Miami Glow, its an amazing smell that I can’t describe. Even though I’m not a JLO fan, I still love the perfume!
