how to preserve cologne for long time?

I purchased burberry weekend cologne, coolwater, YSL, lanvin, christian diol and etc.

And the scent for burberry weekend and lanvin faded away in 6 months. I could smell their scents from the bottle, but as soon as I spray them, I couldn’t smell them at all.

I put my cologne bottles in a wooden box, and did this weaken them?

   Keep the cap on tight and keep your cologne in the refrigerator. Yes the fridge ! You read me right lol. And it feels so cool and refreshing when you spray it on !!!
