How do you get the smell of heavy perfume oil out of a purse ?

I had that happen to me and all i did was took a wash cloth and soap and cleaned it out but be advised that the stuff in your purse will smell like it so dont put that back in your purse.

sprinkle the inside with baking soda once you are sure it is dry. Let it set for at least 6 hours and then use a vacuum to suck out the soda. The only other thing to try is to turn the bag inside out if you can and leave outside for it to air out which may take a couple of days.
Try the soda trick first as it will soak up any oil the perfumed balls may have left behind.
next time, use an air sanitizer type spray and spray sparingly.

Well I had an old purse that really smelled wierd and someone suggested putting in one of those Fridge IT activated carbon odor absorbers, so I did and it really did help alot. I use these really just about everywhere in the house like under sink and trash areas, cabinets, and of course refrigerator but never thought of using it for the bag. I suggest you give this a try to. It’s unscented so no more fragrances. The activated carbon should help.
