How do I get uniforms clean smelling, without fragrance?
HappyThoughts asked:
My husband has super sensitive skin, so I can’t wash his clothes with any fragrance or fabric softener, or use dryer sheets. His uniforms just don’t get clean enough, they always smell just a little dirty. I used vinegar in the rinse water for a while, but that didn’t do anything. I use baking soda in the wash, but I can’t see that it’s helping.

Create a video blog…instantly.
Try soaking them in vinagar and baking soda. Then putting them through the regular wash.

have you tried the laundry soap made for babies it is for sensitive skin “IVORY SNOW” or “baby soft walmart brand” these are not high with perfumes but they smell really nice, there is also a new tide free that is for sensitive skin. There may be some fabric softeners around for sensitive skin too, for my babies i always used downy, you could also try spraying them with a fabric refresher febreeze or renuzit or you could spray it with body spray just an idea

When my step dad worked in the factory, his clothes always smelled of oil. I started washing with 1 cup baking soda in the cold wash and 1 cup white vinegar in the rinse cycle. Then I would hang them in the sun. They always smelled fresh after that.
